What time is check-in?
Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. PST, but we do our best to accommodate any early arrivals. Early check-in (before 1:00 p.m.), when available, is an additional $55. If you arrive at the Hotel early, we will be happy to take care of your belongings and deliver them to your room when it’s ready. 

Do you offer parking, and how much does it cost?
We offer valet parking at $49 per night. We are happy to provide other self-parking options upon arrival.

Do you have space to host our party or corporate meeting?

Can you do anything special for birthdays, anniversaries, or romantic getaways?
Our team of personal concierges are happy to help you celebrate your special day with unique enhancements, whether it’s a bottle of Prosecco on ice, balloons and cake, or a romantic turndown waiting for you. We can make your stay uniquely memorable.  

Creativity is our specialty. For one recent joyous occasion, we had a caricature artist come in to do a portrait of our guests. Unbeknownst to one of them in particular, the artist was drawing a boyfriend proposing to his girlfriend. The artist turned the drawing around, and before she realized it, her boyfriend was down on one knee. They join the ranks of the many guests who have used The Keating for their engagements. 

Do you have a restaurant on-site?
Although we do not have a Keating restaurant, we are within walking distance of literally hundreds of dining options. The Gaslamp Quarter is the most densely packed neighborhood of restaurants, bars, and nightlife in San Diego.  See our San Diego Restaurant Guide for more information.

Are you close to the San Diego Convention Center?
We are within walking distance of the convention center, and for the past ten years, thousands of guests have enjoyed the Keating as a counterpoint to its hustle and bustle. We are happy to accommodate your participation in a convention or gathering, from accepting packages before your arrival to storing your luggage while you attend the final day after your departure.

Is The Keating pet-friendly?
The Keating is happy to accept pets. We charge a one-time, nonrefundable pet fee of $100.

Can you accommodate guests with special needs?
The Keating has rooms that can accommodate guests with mobility issues or other special needs. During the reservation process or post-reservation, you are welcome to contact the Keating to ensure your needs are met and we can facilitate a comfortable and pleasant stay.
