San Diego's Over the Line Tournament is a long-time, pure Southern California tradition that must be seen to be enjoyed! This 2-weekend long tournament is not to be missed, where the spectators have as much fun watching as players enjoy getting dirty playing.

The Over The Line (OTL) game is simple but exciting, made even more so by the antics of the players, their fun uniforms/costumes and you cannot forget the liberty teams take with naming their teams.

Grab a cooler of beer, some hot dogs to grill, sunscreen and come cheer on your favorite team or if you like, create your own team and join the tournament!

Over The Line (OTL) is played with 2 teams of 3 players one each team. The court where the game is played, is approximately 55' wide.  The Foul lines extend to infinity. Teammates pitch a softball to their own players. Fly balls hit into fair territory without being caught are considered hits. The first 3 hits in any 1 inning scores a run with additional hits scoring additional runs for each hit.

Games are 3 to 4 innings long unless extra innings are needed for tie-breakers. If a team reaches a lead of 11 runs or more, the game is over. Gloves for the most part are not used.
